Services

I am a single practitioner offering a range of services.

I have worked tirelessly these past few years to develop the services I offer; so they are available in the virtual world and as standalone packages. It has been a challenging few years for many; myself included but I have added below a succinct summary of all of the services I still offer and have capacity to offer in the coming months.

Service 1

Comprehensive Health Needs Assessments/ social prescribing and family support. If you are working with a child and family who would benefit from an assessment of their wider health needs, then this is a useful tool. The assessment covers all aspects of a person’s life and considers emotional, social, environmental factors; all which may have an impact on the persons physical and emotional health. I have developed this role working across the primary years sector and currently assess (predominantly) children who are struggling to access mainstream services and are at risk of exclusion from school.

This service is available as an individual /single assessment (a one off) or as a series of days/ clinics where I will undertake numerous assessments. These are booked in advance.

Service 2

Essential Health Information books: this little book was the creation of my mum. A lady who recognised that attending hospital alone (during the pandemic) was really quite a terrifying experience and being expected to recall all of your personal and health history was a tall order. This little book was designed for families to fill out with their loved ones and it contains all of the essential information a clerking doctor or nurse may request from you on admission to hospital.

Service 3

Supervision: still my passion and still a main focus for me. Too many practitioners fail to access quality supervision, and, in my view, it is essential that we have good quality supervision as practitioners. I offer facilitation for peer supervision as well as guidance and support in establishing positive, solution focused supervision groups. Practitioners coming together in this way, sharing their experience, discussing change and innovation is best practice. The CQC and the NMC respect supervision and recognise when this is delivered in a positive, structured and respected manner.

The supervision can be contracted in working groups or individually. This can be adapted to meet the needs of your organisation
